Markus played a key role in the relaunch of NIVEA MEN. The brand was carefully adapted to the needs of modern men. Changing gender roles were also part of the consideration - but without sounding preachy.

The brand needed to become more modern and reflect the realities of men today without alienating loyal customers. Communication had to include evolving role models, strengthen loyalty, and across media.

The strategy modernized the brand while respecting its heritage. Messages balanced progressive perspectives with familiar values. Fresh ideas appeared online and offline, building loyalty and creating a connection.

Nivea

NABEAU is a modern beauty salon in Berlin combining aesthetics and innovation. The client wanted a website that reflected her high-quality work and delivered a strong, visually striking first impression.

The client had a limited budget but clear visual expectations inspired by beauty photographer Tamara Williams. Her own photographer could not achieve this style, so realistic, bold imagery was urgently needed.

We built the entire website from scratch and created visuals using AI-generated imagery in a hyperrealistic beauty style. The result matched the client’s vision and delivered a premium aesthetic.

Nabeau

For the pet insurance brand of the Allianz General Agency Kundler, we created a vibrant new website blending trust, warmth, and expertise. Dog and team shootings, an accompanying video, and a unique visual identity shaped the experience.

The project demanded a blisteringly fast turnaround while expertly balancing emotional storytelling with uncompromised premium insurance positioning. Visuals needed to feel warm, yet standing miles apart from the usual cold, corporate insurance drivel.

Or the new direction just flops - message doesn’t land, design misses, money down the drain. Memorable masterclass in what-not-to-do: Jaguar. Wanted younger, cooler, brighter. First ad: no cars, just models and wild outfits. Internet (and, surprisingly, LinkedIn): "WTF, where’s our Jaguar?" CEO then called the backlash "hate". Did it actually work? Nope. Sales crashed. Lesson: don’t ignore your core audience. Treat criticism like free consulting. And do it smart! Then rebranding becomes a boost, not a boomerang.

Nope! But they’re best mates. Branding is the big strategy: values, messages, how the brand should feel in people’s heads. Corporate design is the visual execution: logo, colours, fonts, the stuff you actually see. Corporate design makes the brand recognisable and pretty. Branding decides how it should be perceived, and corporate design brings that plan to life. Anything else you wanna know? Fire away – we don’t bite (much).

Short answer: Nah, not even close :) AI is killer at cranking out logos in seconds, spitting variations of color palettes, generating mood boards, or even hyperrealistic images in minutes (with the right prompt). Hell, we use it ourselves to expand the emotional storytelling without breaking the bank. But here’s the honest bit: AI is a ridiculously powerful tool, but not the brains behind the wheel. It can copy styles, remix trends and flood you with options... but it can’t sit in a call and actually feel your founder energy, then distill that into a positioning that screams "this is 100 % us". It can’t read the room when your team says one thing but really means something else. It can’t push back on your sacred cows, spot the hidden bullshit in your brief or help you own something bolder than you thought possible. And it definitely can’t craft a brand story that makes people think "these guys actually get me". From what we’re seeing right now in 2026: AI has left the hype phase and become basic infrastructure. The agencies that win aren’t the ones pretending it doesn’t exist or the ones handing everything over to ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Gemini, Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly or Midjourney and calling it a day. The winners are bolting AI onto sharp human strategy, gut feel, nuance and creative balls. Pure AI? Fast, cheap and forgettably average. So no, AI won’t replace a good branding agency.
